The Medical Complex Extension project enhances the facilities of the LKS Faculty of Medicine through the construction of a three-storey annex and the expansion of existing teaching spaces. The new annex accommodates offices, meeting rooms and conference facilities, connected seamlessly to the existing medical complex by a link bridge. The project required careful coordination of building services systems to integrate new installations with existing infrastructure while maintaining continuous operation of medical and academic functions. Sustainability and indoor environmental quality were key design drivers, with the project targeting BEAM Plus Platinum certification through energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems.
