The development was completed on 2001. Shanghai Times Square is a composite development located in the heart of Huai Hai Zhong Lu.  It consists of a 30-storey office tower, a 27-storey apartment tower which over-looks the neighbouring Huai Hai Garden, a seven-storey crescent shaped commercial podium and three levels of basement.  In front of the development is a semi-circular open space.
